Contract
Does the change keep its promises to the rest of the system?
HYDRA / THE CODE ENGINE WITHIN FORGE
Hydra is our bet that running many minds in parallel can make software both faster to build and harder to break. It is the most ambitious thing we are building in code.
HYDRA / A SHARED MISSION, INDEPENDENT SCRUTINY
Each engine is good at something different. One standard of evidence is what turns their work into a single answer.
The repository becomes a concrete, reviewable proposal.
CODE · INTERFACES · DEPENDENCIESThe proposal is run against the goal and made to prove itself.
TESTS · EDGE CASES · REGRESSIONSA separate reviewer goes looking for what is wrong with it.
ASSUMPTIONS · CONTRACTS · COVERAGEHydra puts several coding engines, each with its own specialty, on one mission. A specialist in low-level systems code can work through memory and concurrency while another engine handles the interface. They are working on the same objective, and the result has to read as one piece of work.
Throughput Lattice is the proprietary method behind that coordination. Its aim is simple: less wasted effort, less waiting, and problems found early instead of at the end.
Adding more engines does not make a project faster by itself. Hydra is designed around that fact, and we treat it as the central problem.

PROOF MESH / FOUR EVIDENCE GATES
Does the change keep its promises to the rest of the system?
Does it hold up when it is actually run?
Can a fresh set of eyes find a flaw in it?
Does everything still work once it is put together?
Changes that look fine on their own can still fail together. The last gate exists to catch that, and nothing is accepted until the whole result holds up as one.
This is the idea at the heart of Hydra. The engines do not simply vote on whose answer looks best. They have to back their answers with evidence, and that evidence has to hold up.
Throughput Lattice and Proof Mesh are proprietary. Their expected gains are design targets, not measured results, and how they work is not something we share.
THE HYDRA PRINCIPLE
Scale the construction.
Intensify the scrutiny.
